Christians: More than meets the eye

Well... since i havent updated this blog for soooooo long...i'll start with what happened yesterday ^^...

FRIDAY!!! the day after my exams finished....man...you won't BELIEVE how God helped me throughout the exams...and its FINALLY OVER!!!...Well...at the start...my plans were all mixed up...anyways...in the end...i went ice skaeting for the first time....The people who went were...um....Edmund, Yuan Hao, Audrey, and WESLEY!!! Ha... funny thing was...the moment i reached JEC, i saw Asykin and Bobbie...so i went to have breakfast with them first....apparently, the came straight after the bnm paper....so i was wondering why the rest of the group took so long....yeah... so after i talk cock with them i bit...then the rest came....

Well..the funny thing was that right after that...Wesley started talkin to edmund an Yuan Hao about Christian stuff...i guess he was questioning about the whole fairness thing...Well...lets just say that God has his choice...and hes alrdy unfair in that WE are already FORGIVEN even though we did not deserve it...THAT is undair...

Well...after buying the tix for transformers ( Note the title), we went to ICE SKATE!!! ha... the thing was...i was dressed to go PLAY BASKETBALL!.... so...i entered that freezing cold ring with like PE shorts and dri fit shirt...so of course i was shivering....For all you who dont know..this is my first time ice skating...so after i "suited" up, i went in...heh....the first round i was so nervous sia...budden as i went like on my 2nd and 3rd round....i realised its a lot like rollar blading...so i managed to pick it up super fast...ha....ice skating was A BLAST!!!... heh..even learned how to stop properly....but then it took a few falls for me to get it correct...Oh well....i almost learnt how to move backwards too... Man...then ran into some other bunch of pple from our skool....Oh...b4 that...there was this like young girl in the ring who was like clinging on to us....funny thing was... we didnt even know her lol...and then she was like hugging everyone... ha...we had so much fun with her around.....

Well...after that...we chiong to go watch transformers....ha....SUPER good show sia.... the CG scenes rock my low socks....and i WANT A CAR LIKE BUMBLEBEE!!!! Hes how cool la.... can transfrom into any car model you want....heh...after that i had to chiong home for Cell group dinner....my mudder cooked up a feast yet again....this was friday....

Sat morning started out with me waking up at 9...the supposed time i was supposed to meet her at skool ^^....so i hurried and bathe...good thing my mudder was around to fetch me tehre...so i wasnt too late...so we both went to the AC barker carnival today...Apparently, she had like 40 bucks worth of free tix from alister chew who bought like a ton of tix and distributed to the girls in our skool....lucky girls... Anyways...we met Yuan hao there...and the morning was spent looking around and buying all the nice food lol...man it was fun..and the bands performing was not bad lol....espcially the band with the bassist whose voice sounds like Sting...

After that Yuan hao had to go...so only me and Audrey left to kill some time before i had to go to church....ha....so off we went to go Plaza Sing...i even taught her to play bang bang lol...super fun....after that....i went to church...

Well...today's service was more than usual...Thing was...when i first went in...i didnt really feel like worshiping..because i was so far away from God for the whole week...However...He always has a way to bring me back to Him...and this way was in the form of GIDEON!!! ha..the joker came back from Australia yesterday...and he didnt tell anyone...Well.... i was surprsied to see him lol....and boy he had changed a lot...haha...other than the fact that he becamse increasingly metro...he also matured quite a bit...and i think he learnt a few things when he was at Australia...Well..the moment worship started...he started jumping around and praising God with all his heart...i guessed that really woke me up...its like "Wheres MY passion? It was there before...but it dissapeared...i drifted so far from God...can i really just come back and worship him?"...Well... when the next song started.....God just let me know that i could...and am always welcome back... and that the forgiveness and grace i received was enough to bring me back...and thus.. that worship was one of the best i had in a very long time.....

After the worship... for some reason...i went to do the rap/announcement with Ben..ha...was super funny lol....and we both looked like retards....anyways...we had class after that... and so Uncle Thin Yin showed us the photos he took when he went to East Timor, and the powerpoint...man..he really did a lot of work there....After class...we were meeting at the carpark there...and then to cut the long story short...only me and Gid were left...so we just decided to go to "one arm"(Doesnt it sound like this?) for dinner....heh... havent talked to this guy for ages... and i kinda missed the chicken there...so yeah..we went..and then we just started talking...well...in the end...we ended up talking about the most prevalent thing in our church: Cliques...I'm not judging anyone about this, but i honestly believe that it is this single problem that is preventing us from reaching out to the rest of our friends....I just didn't notice it until know.....Well...we just like talked and talked about it...and then i had this idea, why dont we just go pray about it now?..So off we went back to church...took the guitar...and me and Gid just started worshiping a praying...Man...we just prayed for the youth and the church....God's presence was just so powerful amongst us...and we just prayed and prayed...i feel that this will lead us to a new revival among us...not just a temporary one...but one that will revolutionise our youth...and God let Gid come back a few days earlier than expected just for this...Its amazin how God just brings people together according to the need...we broke quite a few strongholds tonite ^^....

Well...that is the most i have so far...i hope that whoever is reading this....just try to get out of your comfort zone..i know you heard this kinda thing many times over...but the i just pray that you will do something about it...i'm sensing something great coming our way....So...Nites...

Amazing Grace Batam

Ok...i finally gotten done to blogging(I STILL cannot get used to the word) about the Batam trip, prolly coz theres no one to play dota with at the moment...also,,,coz Juli was too lazy to pass me all the wonderful photos our group took during the camp..i'll have to wait till 27 june for her to get back from the Potato Farm...

Ok...Well...the trip was so amazing (Notice the PUN ^^) i dont really know where to start. Anyways...we all met at harbourfront...Clara wanted me to help out with Logistics so i like arrived 45 min earlier than everyone else...Oh well...at least i managed to get the meal at Macs...Ok...so we all met for breakfast and SET OFF!! Oh...before taht...i managed to get Pokemon adventures 24 on an impulse...and Sudoku for some weird reason i forgot...Oh..by the way...I'm team 2...

Oh ya...About the camp...it was a mission camp for the whole church...we split into 2 villages...the adults in 1 and the youth and the bb boys in the other....so...obviously...i went with the youth side... Our purpose there is to basically bless the community... which translates to we set up a funfair...and actually painted a house and furnished it...ok...My group consists of: Joshua, Our "cher" leader, Julianna with her killer calfs and unfunny jokes, Shu anne, tiff, Pearlyn, Cheng yew, Evers, Reuben, Chris, Nicolas, Anthony, Martin, Matt ( he can do 30 pull ups), Rui jie, Chin Yen, Hubert and of course me....So... off we went...

Well...i cant really rmb the whole trip, but there were highs and lows for everyone.. The first day wasnt much...we arrived there in the afternoon, had a service...then went to see our hotel..."sky view hotel it was called"...Sighs...its more of a motel actually...theres like ZERO facilities...and theres not even a roof access where you can view the sky...So..the funny thing was...guys is 5 pple in 1 room...while girls its 3 to 1 room....Funny huh...their like much smaller than us and they can have lesser pple in a room...shld be the other way round -.-...anyways... we only had like 2 single beds for all of us...so we just joined them like i did during sec 3 OEP, and all 5 of us can squeeze in liao...

Of course...i started playing all the mind games i learnt during the BINTAN WOW... really got them cracking their heads...Cedric took like 2 days to figure out the number game... boy was it hilarious....ALso...we played Tee's Tong ka/ bom chi game...dont really know the real name of it...heh...was super fun sia...also got the ice breaking....

Second day was more fun....we had the fun fair ^^...so...on the way there...it started RAINING....OMNIGOSH!!! How to have a fun fair like that.... so we PRayed and Prayed...and Prayed somemore....And God stopped the rain...Although it still drizzled a bit here and there... the rain actually helped to cool the place off... Amazing huh...Also...at that time...Nana suddenly had rashes... so had to be send back to join the adults where the medication is...also...our vans just SO happened to get mixed up...and it was sooo messy...Like clara said...COINCIDENCE?...its more like spiritual warfare man...so we used our most lethal weapon...we PRAYED!!! And it is effective...the rain slowed down...we sorted out the problem with the vans..AND clara actually managed to organize the whole fun fair by herself...smart girl..heh..we set up the fun fair with nary a hitch... man ...the kids there really were hyper... i mean..they seem so happy just like seeing us there...they even made a game out of the water bottles we threw away....so..we set up everything... got down and dirty in the mud...helped transport those 25kg bags of rice...packed everything nicely...and at 2, the fun fair started....Well...me and Matt were put in charge of FOOD Distribution...man...you can NEVER find such efficient and hardworking people anywhere else...before the fair even started..there was a queue of people....so...me and matt used our superior strengh...and 5 minutes later..they were all gone ^^... Effciency at its max if i say so myself..in some circles...they call us Flash...So...those people who unjustly accuse us of that vile term of "slackers", just know that its because we are fast and efficient ^^....yeah...so basically...we juz talked the afternoon...and periodically gave out the food when people came... Well...the thing that struck me th most was the joy in some of their faces...i mean...its not as if we gave them expensive stuff...a few packets of instant noodle...sugar...rice...cheap stuff...prolly wont add up to more than 5 bucks each... but then...they were grateful...and i think that by doing this...we are making a bigger impact than we think...And...its really the simple things in life that we can do to make another person's life a better one...

Well...after the fun fair...we all went for dinner...Well....before dinner came..we played our stoopid games again ^^...super fun..and it really gelled our group together...glad to see the bb people and our church people can mix together in the short period we had...Well...Animal game...Polar bear...Tong ka...it all served to make us more of a group....So...dinner came...and boy was it good... heh..i was sitting at the girls tables...so..more food for me ^^...anyways.. Nicholas...i CANnot believe the SHEER amount of food he can put away..."Feeding a Famine" i would call it...i have no idea how his mum feeds him...5 PLATES OF RICe,....and THATS AFTER 4 BOXES DURING LUNCH...stupendous i must say...so...after that..we went to the bible skool for activities...

Well...we started out with singsperation...then got our camp commandant give his nice talk...then just played really stoopid games lol...we went out...and played double whacko...well...i must say...that game wasnt really as fun as it could be..this was because some of the guys were picking on Reuben..on a serious note..i believed i shld have stood up for him right there and then...but then i was just so blinded by the fun that i totally missed just how much hurt he was going through..it was only until he walked off then i finally realised...sighs...anyways...we played finished our game...good thing Josh lee went to talk to him...i think it really helped him...Wel...later when we went back to the hotel...i talked to him...heard him out...and just helped him through it...ok...i guess this is what Christians do... we help people... anyways...during reflections at night..we brought it up...and i guess the guys realised the mistakes that they made...one of them apologised...and i think that brought that incident to a close...

The next day...we woke up late...and after breakfast...off we went to the other village..this time..we are gonna build tables and paint the walls...well...i volunteered to build the tables even though i didnt go for the training lol...and boy... its quite easy to pick up ^^...so...i finished 1 table...left it to dry..then started to help Maxine lacquer the top of the door since she couldnt reach,,,(Short girl)... so basically thats wad we did the whole day...sounds short...but building tables really take quite a long time...coz gotta sand paper and file the thing too...heh...during that time..i played the slapping game with cedric... One word of advice...NEVER play any game which involves hitting with a polo player...MAN he hits hard....i could tell he was enjoynig that...ANyways...by the end of it...both our hands were all red... Anyways,..,dinner time again ^^...some more fun games..and this time..all of us joined in..not just my table.....Polar bear...Tong ka...so much fun...sad thing the food came lol...it was how fun...after that had another seesion at the bible school...this time after the stoopid games 'cher came up with...we had serious reflection...Ha...at nite also had reflections again..and this time..i guess it was more upbeat...

The real highlight of the camp was after everything...on the last night..for some unknown reason...i found myself lookin for cedric..then found out that he was in the prayer meeting..so i dunno why..but i went to join them...lol...the funny thing was...i went there...and Joel just passed me the guitar for SOME reason...and i played lol....oh...i cant describe that night...the whole room was FILLED with HIS Presence...it was just so amazing...i just played...and prayed...such an enriching experience..im sure everyone who was there has their own sotry to tell...that time was what difining moments are made of....i guess God lead me to that place for that reason...even though i never planned it...

Well...prayer session ended...and thus feeling strangly energised...i wandered around....at the bottom floor..i saw people playing Murderer...so i went to join them ^^.... Heh..Cedric and Eucks (I call Euclid that now ^^) came and joined...funny thing was...cheryl was the only girl there.....oh well...the game was super funny...coz when i was murderer...Dan guess i was coz i was STRANGELY quiet... heh...never play this sorta game with people who have known you for 17 years...oh well...when Cedric was the murderer...the first person he killed was ME..so obvious... im kinda surprised people didnt take that as a clue....sighs....after that... we just wandered around somemore...eventually...bout 3.30..i went back to the room to go sleep...

Next day woke up with panda eyes...morning was just stoning...went back to church for service...for some reason..God became so present at that worship...i nearly broke.. right there and then...man...i never wanted that moment to end...after that... we had the msg...and lunch...was fun sia...was talkin to raj about serious stuff..then played with him the Bang Bang game...took some time for him and his fren to get it lol... after that... went back to the hall for the final debreif...me and cedric played the slapping game again...i still had my battle scars from the previous time... for some reason...everyone else also started playing lol...after a while...i played with Juli...man for a girl..she slaps hard... my hand was super red sia...after that..played with 'cher...bad choice man...he seriously WHACKED me... lol..after that..josh/ cher went to play with joel REALLY bad choice...he had to like stop playing after only 2 hits...thats how hard joel whacks...DONT mess with him lol.... after that we went to the harbour...for some reason..we started to CAM WHORE lol... like seriously...i'll post up the pics once i get them...me and Anthony were like acting cute all the way...of course..this was all Juli's idea...heh...oh...i forgot to mention about her killa calfs.... ok...Juls has SCARY calfs....slim but SUPER defined....its bordering on guydom...oh..i forgot to mention that shes really a guy =p...i mean..wanting a SIX PACK??? ha...the whole trip..we were all obsessing about killa calfs...and all the exercises related to it we can do to get them lol..esp DK and Tian yi....

Boarded the boat...and started playing stoopid games on the boat again lol.... i guess we really made a lot of noise...and SOOO fun...we really clicked together as a team....

ok....its seriously getting late...i better go sleep lol...tmr prolly cannot wake up..anyways....i'll post up all the nice pics once i get them..around the 27th....NITES

Fishy's Birthday!!!

Ha...today we went to celebrate <><'s b'dae....by we i mean tek, mary kinks, berts, me, and of course the birthday boy <><....Of course....there's just too much funny nonsense to write about..

Ha...we were SUPPOSED to meet at 11...of course we must be late by at least 15 min...then wait for other pple....by the time all of us were gathered...it was like 12 liao.....anyways...i ate my double western bacon burger at Carl's ^^...Basket....i tell you are...those guys were koping my fries like anything....

Sad thing was...it started drizzling soon....and since we were planning to go to the beach...that really was out of the question.....Ha...then Mary remembered that she wanted <>< to do b'dae dare....so off we went to the Mark and Spencer LINGERIE section.... By now you shld get the picture of what the dare was...heh...the sales assistent was staring at us the whole time.... At least <>< went thru with it...heres visual proof ^^



Ha....you kinda can guess what kind of idiot he is rite now ^^....after that we decided to go watch Pirates....since we BELIEVED it was still raining...SO off we went to buy our nice tix...then realised we all got craving for subway....so with half and hour left...we all chiong to the old harbourfront mall to buy our subs....then...along the way...we realised it STOPPED RAINING....sighs...Anyways...even in subway Feesh cant stop being an idiot

Just guys....so its POOL TIME....As expected...today all our tyco shots came out...esp mine ^^...I won Tek TWICE...firstly coz he airball the final 9 ball...and secondly coz his whiteball went in the same time as the 9...Of course <>< did a so amazing shot that by describing it wont do it justice...

After that...got John Lee's(My fencing teacher) msg that the comp is TOMORROW!!!hiaz...and for some stoopid reason...its required to wear like ultra high socks....i think they are more like stockings...So the place that has the faintest chance of selling it was the Adidas store...so off we went...Heh...that place was where we wasted a lot of time on nonsense...They didnt have the knee-high socks..but had something else ^^...



If you havent noticed...theres a super big snakes and ladders game on the floor...so we kinda hogged it ^^...Its amazing why they didnt chase us out...of course <>< won with his stoopid amazing luck...got the ladder straight to the finish...

After that I had to zao liao....ha...but today was so retarded and fun..even though we didnt manage to go to Sentosa...Oh well..mayb another time....Anyways...i better go sleep liao...sighs..Tmr im sure gonna die...NITES

Bintan WOW

Haha...firstly....theres a reason for this so veri late post...it coz im too lazy to write/ type out all of the stuff i did during WOW..

Since theres just TOO much stuff for me to BLOG (I still find this word quite queer), i'll just like write the more important stuff...

First things first..The trip there was kinda funny...for some reason...i started talking to edmund like crazy....then YH...then Junen...then there was some crazy bunch of sec 2 kids from a school which starts with M (Its seriously unpronouncable) who were your typical Lians(HEE).... I shan't name any names...but they were super funny sia....Anyways...the trip there was super fun...we were just spouting nonsense..

Second things first...We went to the orphanage...It must be funny to see this sploit city kids from some far off place called Singapore to come to Bintan, then have to put up a show for them lol...Anyways...w found out we had to reciprocate in kind...so off we went on our impromptu stuff...with Gee and the music pple doing their stuff...

Anyways...Third things first....OFF we went to our accomidations...Man...from what we heard from RC(Racheal Cheung for those not in the know), we thought it will be like some hut or smth...but instead...we got A VILLA!!!! Complete with your average tennis court, swimming pool, POOL, arcade( But no one plays it), basketball court, and of course air-conditioned rooms ^^....Anyways...the funny thing was there were 3 rooms...and 2 of them only had 1 KING SIZE bed...so naturally...us guys have to sleep together....Dunno how i ended up with Edmund...Anyways....Teens have raging hormones..and Edmund was no different,....For those who think this sounds quite suggestive...its coz Edmund has queer sleeping habits...Which you REALLY dont want me to elaborate...Anyways...it was pretty normal because John was there...Other than that...SOMEONE keeps on pushing me off the bed in his sleep...

OK...At the orphanage the next day...i volunteered myself..and of course Lionel too...to go wash the toilet...Sai Kang Warriors some pple call us..Anyways...we ended up nice and wet from that ^^... and quite tired...Remainding wasnt much..we just cleaned up and went off...

Came back and finished up painting the toilets...Man..Zhe yu was superhuman...painted one whole one by himself...I was playing with the kids ^^...Anyways..they had this really cool game were you tried to flip this small deck of cards with the wind generated by you smacking the ground with your hands...Hard..and i was the only guy in the class to master it ^^...Heh...the funny thing was...you go there with the mentality of what you can teach these kids...and the funny thing was that they were the ones who ended up teaching me...Mind you...Their english is non-existent...And im QUITE sure my Bahasa is not up to standard...The POINT is...There is much we can learn from the people we are helping...and we should always be humble enough to actually want to learn from them...Sure...they may not be as fortunate as us to be born in such comfortable homes...and but they may still know a little bit more of the world than us....

After that...we went to the nice beachside huts/resort where we did all the stuff like flying fox and mountain climbing...Ok...Firstly...the mountain climbing...was a total embarrassment..Haha..Funny how it doesnt really matter... Anyways...they put me up on the left side...which is like totally impossible for me to climb with my strengh..ANyways.//..thi sapped up almost all of my energy liao....Then...at the retry...i realised i was sweating too much as usual ^^... Of coruse this makes it nearly impossible for me to cling on the rocks...Thus..i was stuck at the same place for a glorious 10 minutes...Um....Sorry about the slippery rock Audrey...Its just my sweat glands working overtime...Oh..and the kick to the face...ENTIRELY UNINTENTIONAL.... i think.... and the sweat...who ask you to be below me....Anyways.. anyone who is reading this can kidna figure out what happened....Ok...so i was the 1 of the 2 guys who didnt make it to the top... but THEN... it makes me UNIQUE ^^...All those losers who made it to the top...ha....all so COMMAN!! It takes A REAL MAN to stand out ^^...

Ok...Next up...Flying FOX!!!.. Man..i was waiting in anticipation for that...ha..i went up...took 1 look down..and knew i could never walk off...So...Being me...i jsut took a few steps back and made a running jump ^^... See...by applying the law of physics...the MOMENTUM will carry you forward..thus it is nearlly impossible to stop...Anyways... You see...for those who WALKED or just slide off from sitting position..the harnass catches you straightaway..thus it issint that scary...Now...if you JUMPED off...you kinda realise you actually go up first...then come down...It took like 2 seconds for the harnass to catch me...and those 2 seconds were SCARY...when i was shouting KUCHIBIRU (Blue Key in Bahasa and something else in jap...) i REALLY was shouting...super fun sia... man...i MUST try Bungee and sky diving sometime soon...REally love the adreneline rush thing...

Anyways...back to Agro...Edmund was teaching me how to break lol...Quite funny...but it seems i got the groove ^^..Sad thing is..i need LOTS more strengh if im gonna do all the crazy nonsense...Of course...we had a fine time playing cards..The pple in my villa: Jun En, Yuan Hao, Berts, Kinks, Edmund, John Wong and ME!!! 'Times in Adhir's language...it means Good Times for those scratching their heads...

Ok..next day off to the nice beach side resort/ huts again..this time we brought all our barang...man..we picked the hut closest to the sea, and boy it was splendid...On the way there...We played all those STOOPID games racheal (The one whos middle name is Kim) came up with...The worse was the MRT game...ha..i shld really give this to pple...they can really kill me for destorying their brain cells... Anyways..other than that...we went kayaking..My kayak was Edmund, Audrey, and myself...Ha...was having a fun time..of course Audrey ha d LITTLE accident to do with a certain liquid..but i shall not elaborate ^^..ha..we could hardlly stop teasing her about it..but it was all fun...Cut myself on the rocks after tryin to get it out FROM the rocks...the water is just too darn shallow....Dunno where we paddled until...then just went back and relaxed..By relaxed i mean i went to play volleyball with Tee and gang... ha..had my dominating spree... of service...then went to play soccer lol...that is NOT my game..but who cares... Had a "BBQ" dinner...which means we had a few sticks of satay each...talk somemore cock....then had prayer meeting (I'll elaborate later), talk about all the serious, important stuff.. and shared a lot...then...we went to sleep...not in the hut mind you...but on that WONDERFUL platform on the water...ha..we took our mattresses out...i took my jacket(I was the only one smart enough to bring it along ^^).. Applied some of Lionel's industrial strength insect repellant....and off we went to sleep in the open...Ha...It was MARVELLOUS!!!FANTABULOUS!!! And all the multi syllible words i can add in to sound smart... heh...man..the stars were SOOO nice...ha..then we started talking cock again....really nonsense...i qoute Lionel " The moon is too bright...can someone switch it off?" Jun En:" This star is too close to the other...someone go move it"...and loads of other nonsense...then we went to sleep..apparently...i was the only one who managed to sleep right thru coz of MY JACKET ^^.. everyone else were lkike freezing coz of the ocean breeze..anyways.... the next day work up like five coz the of the sunrise...man it was nice....heh...i even got a PICTURE to show for it

Ok....this is seriously getting tedious..but i WILL perservere....ok...we went up on a nice trek up the mountain...quite strenous sia....but was super fun...the view up was quite nice...haha...but the real fun was the long hike TO the mountain..apparently, the forgot to like hire a bus or truck to bring us TO the mountain..so we had to walk there...ha..but that was unforgettable...me Lionel and Joshua were like lagging behind...then out of randomness....we started talking cock like CRAP...i remember in Redwall they call it Boasting...but it was entirely nonsense....Extract of our conversation " I'm not really laggin beind...its just im so fast...i out lap them.."...."In some circles......they call me...Flash..."then it degenerated to who can come up with the most nonsnese Ha...my masterpeace...:" You know lionel...when i sat down...i cause the Great Depression"... wonderful AC culture at its finest....ha...then after we couldnt come up with more retarded stuff..i started my SONG GAME...ha...it sure had Lionel and Josh stumped...who ask them not to listen to Disney songs...hiaz...the unfornuate thing was that Rachel was just walking in front of us..and apparently she ALSO knows the words for the disney songs...she keeps on filling in the words for him....heh...In the end..i think Josh won...by a SMALL margin...

After the mountain trek..we came down..and onto the boat...we were so tired.. the only thing we can do is to just slack on deck....heh...After it set sail for a while...they let down the BOOM NETS!!!!!!!...I tell you Boomnetting is THE way to travel...they basically lower nets at the side..they are partially submerged in water..so you can actually jump into them while the boat is moving...What's the big deal you say....Well..the thing is..the boat has 2 FLOORS!!! So...jumping from high up is THE fun...at first it doesnt look so far...but when you jump...i was like " Oh crap...how come i havent reached the water yet" ha... after that..we just chilled out on the water...so relaxing..and i started playing my song game with lionel again ^^...Switchfoot lyrics are impossible to guess.... really had a great time...

After that...for some reason...Lee Min wanted to take a pic of me and Edmund..for some queer reason..i came up with some really funny pose..and it resulted in my SEXY EYES...i shldnt show it for fear it might burn right through you....haha..after that...we went to this nice deserted Island..."survivor Island" some people call it...Had some really queer hobbies there...Matt Gee was trying to make hermit crabs fight each other...heh...against all odds....we actually had a prayer meeting..i was dumb/smart enough to bring my guitar along to the island...

Next day...we went back to agro for another nites stay...then had the final day at the orphanage..we wanted to finish up and touch up our painting...but then it ended up them putting up a performance again...We had to put up another one AGAIN..Good thing Edmund and Yuan hao had their breaking to show off...After that..it was impromptu all the way...Well...the funny thing was...God actually used this session to use me...Amazing how he uses people at times you never imagine...ANyways.... we had some funny song items like If you are happy and you know it..Apparently, there is a Bahasa version, and Racheal and Eryn sang the nice disney songs...Man their voices rock...Well..no offense...but i kinda saw that the kids had a look of boredom in their eyes...So when dennise asked me:" eh.. you want to go sing A WHole new world(By now everyone knows im a disney buff), i felt the same kinda tug at my heart when the Holy Spirit wants me to do something...So i was like "Lets whack"...Then once the music started playing...I lost ALL inhibitions and started "dancing"...Man...to all those who were there live...I can say that I myself can NEVER do that kinda crazy nonsense by myself...People like me think bout stoopd stuff like reputation.... Heh...but then the Holy Spirit works wonders...When Dennise asked me to sing like another song..A Alicia Keys 1 i think....i was like HUH??? i didnt even know the lyrics...but then...by second chorus...i just felt the same tug...so...i just said a QUICK prayer...i think it went like "Dear God, Please help me, In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."...And off i went on another entirely self-degrading spree..Amazing thing was... it wasnt really all the bad... there were actually people cheering... look back at the video..im kinda struck by how stoopid i look...as Lucius put it: Full marks for bravery, zero for singing...but oh well....we all had a good laugh that day...I'll put the video up once i get it...

Next day went shopping...im too tired to elaborate...just know that the Indonesian idea of "Branded" is seriously lacking..the only good thing there was the pirated games i bought...

Ok....Last day...we had a nice waking up late...then we went to the kfc near the harbour for lunch...Amazingly...we saw a CHURCH/ Missionary school right next to the KFC...so of coruse....us being so excited by actually see a church there..we rushed in to take a look...I guess after all those nites of prayer asking for boldness of believers and hope in indonesia...God answered....Man...we were so warmly welcomed there even though it was entirely unplanned....We even prayed for the school...which is like i think the HOly Spirit leading...anyways..after that we took a picture ^^



Man..those teachers there really ARE living it out...

After going back..we got a scolding from RC...we forgot to tell her of our escapade in all the excitement....heh..amazingly...it wasnt so much a scolding..yet somemore evidence that us going to the church was God's will... of course...our "punishment" was to just stick around the rest of the lunch...of course..we not planning to go look around the streets...talking cock all the time....

Trip back i watched spidey 3/ sleeping...Leemin was camwhoring AGAin ^^...wasnt really taht eventful coz we were all so tired...finally..reached Singapore...

Well...on the the MAIN portion of the trip....For those who are already dying from reading this ULTRA long post of mine...this is the MOST IMPORTANT part...which is about the prayer meetings....This was the time when God was really working in us...setting our hearts right before we go to serve in the orphanage... Before the trip...Edmund like 2 days before..." WHy dont you bring you guitar"..Then out of some weird notion..i actually agreed....First nite of prayer was super amazing sia....so many pple turned up...prolly 20...we were seriously amazed...this is GOD at work...it really set the tone for the trip...

Second day however...it really became severly diminishd...like 7 pple...even though we were all disheartened...we were reminded.."When 2 or 3 are gathered in my name..I will be there with them"...There...we whether 2 or 20 people...God will STILL be with us...so we just continued....i guess smaller groups are better...coz we can mess up the singing all we want..and just go where the spirit leads us....

Third day was basically the same...this time without the girls...Amazingly..we still had 7 pple....God's presence was still so strong....and we just prayed and worshiped....He just reminded me so much about his soveriegnty and his control over the situation...and that we are just his instruments...

Forth day was prayer meeting under the stars ^^....Looking up...you just marvel at the heavensand all of God's creations...this is why David the Psalmist wrote "The Heavens declare your glory"...It just SOOOO vast....with out city lights...you actually see the countless stars in the sky....that evening..we were all sharing with each other our struggles and our problems....it was just so meaningful...and it just so happens the girls wanted to have their own prayer meeting...so us guys can actually openly share....it really was REAL fellwoship...Also that nite..amzing like...Bhupi joined us...it was ENTIRELY unexpected...i mean...he was the last guy anyone expected to turn up...but "My ways are higher than your ways"....and Edmund even prayed for him....this is the Spirit working in the class...

Fifth day Prayer ON THE ISLAND...Like i said...against all odds...we had prayer meeting yet again..even though i was SOOO tired...i struggled thru...and it was rewarding....you see the vast oceans...especially during the day...when we were on the small boat.... from the front...you notice how small we look compared to everything else...you get VERY humbled by your insignificance....Just ON that tday....it was THE global day of prayer...so we joined the nations to pray for the NATIONS... on SURVIVOR ISLAND...can you JUST imagine....this IS passion for Christ.. He is WORTH it

Last day....we yet again had a all guys prayer meeting....ha...had a wonderful time just praising God and thanking for the whole trip and the experiences and fellowship we had....This ended off on a spiritual high...and a real desire to know the Heart of God...
