Council Elections

Well, today was voting day for the 2nd council elections. Well, I have to say, IT WAS BORING. I MEAN, after ALL that campaigning, there wasn't even a last-ditch effort to garner more vots. Oh well, i managed to vote the pple i wanted to vote. The thing was, i was kinda saddened that some pple only their friends. Even I have to admit, some of my choices were because i knew the person personally. People also tend to negative vote candidates just because they " Don't like his face", or because they think hes not "cool" enough. I mean, these kind of candidates are actuallly the best people for the job, cause they have the right heart, and can actually contribute meaningfully to the school. On the other hand, there are some people who juz want to get into council for the prestige, and of course the boasting rights. Theres no heart of service, and thats what the 2nd most important thing. Of course, since im a Christian, I feel that having the hear for God is the MOST importnat thing when running for council, thats my FIRST criteria when im voting. Prolly coz things kinda falls in place when a person is really chasing after God, no matter how scrooed up they are (heheh jelon :P).

Ok, thats my 4 cents worth for the day. Oh, i also FINALLY manged to install CnC 3 on my com, can't wait to play it tmr ^^.
